Hi, I’m Ben  founder of Deco Dogs and a multi-award-winning dog groomer with over 17 years of hands-on experience in the industry. Grooming has always been my craft and calling. I believe that every dog deserves to look and feel their best not just for show, but for everyday comfort and confidence. 

That’s why I created Deco Dogs: a calm, one-to-one grooming space where quality, care, and attention to detail come first. Over the years, I’ve developed my skills in some of the UK’s leading salons, working with a wide variety of breeds and coat types. My work has been recognised at the highest level, including multiple grooming awards and achievements at Crufts, where I’ve had the honour of showcasing my grooming on some of the country’s most beautiful dogs.

While Crufts and dog showing are a huge passion of mine — offering inspiration, skill-building, and the thrill of competition grooming remains at the heart of everything I do. Whether it’s a breed-standard trim, a practical everyday style, or a gentle introduction for a puppy’s first visit, I tailor every groom to suit the individual dog.

At home, I live with Arnold, my spirited miniature poodle, who keeps me on my toes and reminds me daily why I love this work. I also handle Finn, a Gordon Setter belonging to my close friends, and together we’ve enjoyed success in the show ring all of which feeds back into my grooming practice.
